Not allowed to leave
for a year
An attar is not finished the day it is made. It is finished the day it becomes itself — and that takes time we are not willing to shorten. In this house, no scent is permitted to leave before a full year has passed.

Time is the only ingredient that cannot be bought, hurried, or imitated. Here is what it does.
The making
The oils are brought together by hand and sealed. At this stage the scent is loud, raw, and unfinished — exactly as it should be.
The rest
The harshness begins to settle. Sharp top notes soften and fold inward. Nothing is touched; the work is simply to wait.
The maturation
The oils marry. Depth arrives that no laboratory can shortcut — the rounded, settled character that separates an aged attar from a young one.
The turning
The scent becomes whole. It no longer changes hour to hour; it holds. This is when it is ready to belong to someone.
The release
Only now does a batch leave the house — finished by hand, given a verifiable code, and sent to the one who waited for it.

A label can claim anything. Aging cannot be claimed — it can only be lived. There is no additive, no process, no price that turns weeks into a year. When you wear an aged attar, you are wearing time itself. That is the one luxury that cannot be counterfeited.
